One of the best fish fry. The takeout comes in a cardboard container! Since I've moved back to WNY, I have been seeking a good fish fry. Some of the good old places have gone down in quality. This beer batter fish fry definitely hits the spot. I like the tarter sauce, it has a nice flavor to it.

Friendly, attentive staff and bartenders. Excellent food options (better than normal pub grub -- including great salads). Wide variety of beer. And I enjoy the live music.

The Byrd house is my second home. For starters, the staff takes pride and joy in providing great service for each and every customer. The bosses, managers, and employees strive to make each customer’s experience great and memorable. The menu is crafted from quality ingredients and the cooks work very hard to make consistent, quality, and delicious food. The atmosphere is very cozy and comfortable and casual. I recommend the Byrd house to everyone on this planet.

Cozy family like atmosphere with good food. Had the pot roast sandwich and some gorgonzola potato slices. Both items were great.
